Make room to honor your life with the people that love you.
Rhonda was turning 60 years old and asked me to document her special day. Immediately, I said yes. It would be an honor to celebrate the existence of a warrior.
The year before, she had been in the hospital and her chances of celebrating her next birthday were low. She had fought hard to be here.
With the support of her sons, Ray & Chris, she held the mic and thanked her family & friends for being there to celebrate her life.
The family wasted no time getting straight to the party! The DJ had all the salsa a Puerto Rican needs with a mix of freestyle house music because clearly we were in a room filled with Nuyoricans!
It was a party filled with dancing, food, pictures, old memories and surprises!
Rhonda's first son, Ray, proposed to his long-time girlfriend, Tiffany, and the whole room lit up!
Congratulations Ray & Tiff!
They had a pre-teen son together already and after this celebration they became pregnant with a baby girl! To more life and love!
The legacy continues!
